Barbara was formerly President of Vohryzek & Co., a company that provided consulting services in the areas of organizational management and strategies, SBA Lender Reviews, SBA 504 loan intensive servicing and liquidation, SBA loan program training, and, development of innovative small and medium-sized business loan products. Prior to that, she served for five years as the President & CEO of the National Association of Development Companies (NADCO), the trade association for SBA certified development companies (CDCs). Vohryzek was also an appointee at Governor Jerry Brown’s Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz), where she served as the Principal Advocate in California on behalf of state small businesses for two years.
Matthew was formerly a Community Program Manager at Autodesk, Inc. There he worked to create and manage Machine Learning algorithms that connected a global community of users directly to experts. The implementation of intelligent retrieval matching increased the efficiency of subject matter experts while decreasing the wait time for customers. Prior to Autodesk, Matt performed Environmental Assessments including TSAs, Phase I's, and Phase II's. Matt's work directly facilitated the completion of transactions for small businesses and cleanup for thousands of properties within California.
Founding member of Backstrom McCarley Berry & C0., LLC. Don has served as Manager of over $10 billion of various types of financings. Prior Don served for thirteen years in California State Government. For over six of those years, Don served as a California Deputy State Treasurer, as the Executive Director of the California Industrial Development Financing Advisory Commission, the California Educational Facilities Authority and the California School Finance Authority.
